THE HISTORY OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Schools was established in September 2009 at the request of the Catholics residing within Okuta community. This request was granted by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr Ayomaria Atoyebi OP, the erstwhile  proprietor of the school through Rev. Fr Felix Okoro (Father Founder) and the then parish priest of St. Martin’s De Porres Catholic Church, Okuta.

The official opening of the school took place on 13th October, 2009 with an inaugural Mass in memory of Our Lady of Fatima Apparition. On that day, thirteen (13) students were registered into JSS1 and forty eight (48) pupils into the Nursery and Primary arm with (4) permanent teachers assisted by four (4) corps members. Like a seed planted on a good soil, which was properly watered and nurtured, the school grew, and at the end of the second term of the first academic session, the pupil and students population increased tremendously.

Right from the beginning, the school has been experiencing significant development and improvement. It had earned herself the prestigious reputation as the best school in the whole of Okuta and Baruten Local Government Area and by extension on of the best schools in Kwara State and beyond. Within a span of ten years, the school has grown significantly with a healthy population enrolment of over five hundred (500) pupils and students. The school has also grown in terms of physical structure and human capital development with  over twenty classrooms, staff offices, science laboratory, I.C.T. laboratory, a library, with constant Solar power. On the human capital development, the school has raised the standard of teachers and this has translated into the quality graduates the school produces every year. Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Schools Okuta is a citadel of knowledge where students are trained to be responsible.

The giant strides the school has made over the years were possible under the leadership of the following persons who served in different tenures. Below are the lists from inception till date.
